Michele currently lives in the Atlanta, Georgia area, but hails from Brooklyn, New York. Michele began creating diaper cakes over 30 years ago.

Over the years, Michele's creativity in DIY crafts expanded and by the coaxing of her daughter, her friends, her daughter's friends and her family, "Be Inspired Gifts by Michele" was born.

Michele's tagline: "Bringing Your Vision to Life" was a comment made by a DJ friend of Michele's who saw a diaper cake she made. His insight summed up Michele's creativity concept.
